| Dixie helps out everyone and is so easy to work with and just goes with the flow and is so pleasant. She has really been a great asset to our office staff and stepped in to help when needed. She is always so gracious and catches on very fast and we are lucky to have someone with er talents on our Senior Select Team. Keep up the good work Dixie!

| The 2nd Annual Towne Creek Art Show was a huge success! The residents have met weekly for over a year to work on their beautiful paintings. Senior Select was honored to continue to sponsor this event.

| The staff of Senior Select Home Health Services in McKinney, Texas donated one hundred $25 Wal-Mart gift cards this holiday season to the Collin County Meals on Wheels organization for distribution to our senior citizens. Jill Hickman (owner of senior Select Home Health Services) matched her employees contributiions and presented Julie Smith (Director of Senior Services) of Collin County Meals on Wheels program with $5,000.

This is the second year that Senior Select has paricipated in this event for the Salvation Army during the Holiday Season. | Senior Select Home Health Service sponsored the 2nd Annual Ms. Allen senior Pageant on Saturday October 3, 2009. The event was held at the Allen Senior Center and there were 9 contestants and over 300 in attendance. | On Saturday August 8, 2009, the Beatlegras Band played at the McKinney Performing Arts Center as a fundraiser for the Collin County Committee on Aging Meals on Wheels program. The event was a success with over 200 people in attendance. All of the net proceeds will go directly to the Meals on Wheels program and help feed seniors in Collin County. | McKinney Senior Recreation Center graduated active seniors from a 12 week Texercise program. Participants attended a weekly exercise and wellness class. Texercise was especially designed for the aging population. The class was sponsored by Senior Select Home Health.

| The Senior Select Staff took time out of their work day to help delivery Thanksgiving Boxes to Meals On Wheels participants. This is the 4th year that Senior Select has collected food and delivered boxes for this Collin County Committee on Aging holiday program. |
| Everybody was playing! The new trend of "exergaming" is sweeping the McKinney Senior Recreation Center. Senior Select donated the popular Wii Sports game for the enjoyment of McKinney Seniors.

| Carey Coleman, RN won the 2007 DADS Vision Award for Wellness for her Texercise classes. Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) recognized award winners during the DADS Volunteer Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, June 18th. The Wellness Award goes to a volunteer who demonstrates exceptional community service through their understanding of healthy living issues specific to their community.

| Senior Select Home Health partnered with the Collin County Committee on Aging and the local Senior Recreation Centers to name, honor and recognize Caregiver of the Year for Allen, McKinney and Frisco. The awards are part of the celebration of National Family Caregivers Month (November) and the community's effort to raise awareness and education for family caregivers. | A group of active senior residents at Colonial Lodge of Plano graduated from the Texercise program on November 20th. They completed a 12 week wellness and exercise program.

| They all had on their boogie shoes for the dance sponsored by Senior Select Home Health! Music provided by Blue Diamond Trio. The next dance is scheduled for December 20th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Admission is free and open to the public and is held at Country Lane Senior Living in McKinney.

| Senior Select's Registered Dietitian, Cindy Kleckner recently gave a free seminar on "Healthy Eating in the Maturing Body". In addition, she offered free one-on-one nutritional counseling to some local seniors.

The staff generously donated $2,805.00 in Wal-Mart gift cards to Collin County Committee on Aging's Senior Angels progam. | Senior Select Home Health partnered with the McKinney Senior Recreation Center and offered free screenings for the Alzheimer's Foundation National Memory Screening Day. Screenings consisted of a series of questions and tasks that test memory, language skills, thinking ability and other intellectual funtions. These screenings were also offered at Allen Senior Recreation Center.

| Senior Select Home Health is sponsoring Texercise in Collin County. Texercise is a statewide fitness campaign, developed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services to educate and involve older Texans and their families in physical activity and good nutrition throughout their lifespan. The first class is being held at First Baptist Church in Allen. Class is facilitated by Senior Select's Carey Coleman, RN.

| Senior Select employees and 2500 other participants raised money and stayed up all night for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. This year's Relay event raised $230,000 to find a cure and to support cancer patient services. | Senior Select is proud to offer Anodyne Therapy. This new program is non-invasive, drug-free and safe. Anodyne Therapy helps reduce foot and leg pain in many chronic conditions, improves gait and balace and reduces fall risk in many patients with painful circulatory conditions.

| Over twenty employees from Senior Select participated in this years Relay for Life in McKinney, Texas. They collected over $2000 along with a $1200 donation from Senior Select. Thanks to Ruth Stull, Senior Select Physical Therapist and team captain, for all the time and hard work she devoted to the cause.
